Ah! Got it. My novel is called Devil's Cape, so I was hoping you were referencing that. :)

Well I would define it literally as well as contextually as meaning throwing down a cape,( i.e. a sleevless garment like a cloak but shorter ), over a person still using Windows. And the cape is no ordinary one, it is one worn by the Devil himself.

So you know how bad it can get when someone using Windows lands up in the middle of ardent Linux fans :).
